Any recommendations of good places to eat and drink, also any must be sites and all that.

Edinburgh is a great city and there's a lot to do. Hearts are at home to Killie on Saturday, if you feel like a gentle afternoon.

Good city is Edinburgh.
Grassmarket is good for some evening beers (Biddy Mulligans) and eateries are everywhere.

If you are interested in that sort of shit then it is well worth giving the Royal Yacht Britannia the once over... it is about 10mins trip out of town and makes for an interesting 2-3 hours.
